We are a purpose-built bed & breakfast located close to the harbour and Grace O’Malley - better known as the Pirate Queen's - 15th century castle.

Situated a stones throw from our sandy beach, the site holds sentimental value as the previous dwelling was home to generations of O’Gradys.Indeed, to maintain the historical link, the original stone has been incorporated into the face of the house.

Established in May 2006 we offer five luxury en-suite rooms, comfortable TV lounge & spacious dining area, with mini-gym and sauna situated at the rear of the house.
We also offer a two bedroom self-catering apartment which is adjacent to the house.

The B&B is run by husband and wife team Helen and Alan O’Grady. Helen handles bookings and the day-to-day running of the house while Alan is busy on the family-run ferry, The Pirate Queen during the day and takes on the role of Head Chef for traditional evening meals.
